ATV Trails: Marinette County offers approximately 130 miles of ATV trails. There are summer ATV trails located just about 15 minutes from the resort. You could just have to drop off at a park and ride and have fun ATVing in the warm weather. You may ride your ATVs on the Iron Snow Shoe Snowmobile Trail during the winter when the weather is below freezing.
Biking: The resort is located on a county road; you are welcome to ride on all roads. Kids, supervised by an adult, can ride on Popp’s Lane, a road within Popp’s Resort, which is not as busy. There is a ""Menominee River Century Ride" and the "Tour de Colour" bicycling tours are held annually in June and September respectively. "Marinette County Scenic Bicycle Routes" is available by calling 1-800-236-6681.
Boating: Bring up your boat or rent a boat from Popp’s resort and explore High Falls Flowage. We rental boats ranging from: pontoon boats, paddle boats, canoes row boats, and fishing motor boats. There are no motor restrictions or hours on High Falls Flowage.

Fall Colorama: From mid-September to mid-October the leaves will be changing colors. Come take a boat ride, walk the through the woods or drive in the country to see the beautiful fall colors.
Fish: Fish the High Falls Flowage right at the resort or take a day trip to another body of water close by: Caldron Falls Flowage, Lake Noquebay, Menominee River, Peshtigo River, and many more. In High Falls Flowage there are musky, walleye, northern, bass, and panfish. Ice fishing is also very popular during the winter.
Green Bay Packers: Come stay at Popp’s Resort and take a day trip to see the World Famous Green Bay Packers. Green Bay is about 1 hour drive from Popp’s Resort. www.packers.com
Hiking: For those who love to hike or walk, our area offers many trails nearby, including trails in the Nicolet National Forest, Marinette County Forest and Parks. You may hike around in all the county parks and water fall area too.
Horseback Riding: Kelly Lake
Hunting: Thousands of acres of public hunting grounds attract many hunters each year. Whether you use rifle, shotgun or bow, like to hunt: bear, white tail deer, wild turkey, grouse, woodcock and small game. You owe it to yourself to try at least one season of hunting in the Crivitz area.
Musky Tournament: There is an annual musky tournament is held every second weekend in October on High Falls Flowage and Calderon Falls Flowage.
Lumberjack Steam Train, Laona, WI: Take a ride through the forest on a historic Steam Train. Fall Color rides are especially nice. Located about 45 minutes NW, just west of Laona on Hwy 8. www.camp5museum.org
